Dennis Prickett Wins on the Tensaw

Mobile, Alabama – January 25, 2025: Dennis Prickett of Mobile, Alabama, claimed first place at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 41 tournament, held at Cliff’s Landing Boat Launch near Bay Minette. Competing against top local anglers, Prickett secured victory with a total catch of 11.10 pounds.

Donald Griffith of Robertsdale, Alabama, took second place with a total weight of 10.41 pounds, receiving $128 in prize money. The tournament’s Big Bass award went to Breton Wade of Bay Minette, who reeled in the event’s heaviest fish, a 3.56-pounder, earning him a $45 payout.

  1. Dennis Prickett – 11.10 lbs
  2. Donald Griffith – 10.41 lbs
  3. Garret Walters – 10.04 lbs
  4. Dennis Griffith – 9.63 lbs
  5. Wilson Barrow Jr. – 5.54 lbs

The next Division 41 tournament is scheduled for February 22, 2025, on the Tensaw River, launching again from Cliff’s Landing. Anglers will have another opportunity to compete for cash prizes and accumulate points toward the divisional Angler of the Year title.

The division points champion earns a place in the American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round, held during the AFT Championship. Additionally, the top 500 anglers from all divisions will qualify for the prestigious ABA AFT National Championship, a three-day event that will take place October 4-10, 2025, at Lake Eufaula in Alabama.
