John Dickerson and Randal Maxwell Take Win at Lake Hartwell

March 23, 2025 – Townville, SC. John Dickerson and Randal Maxwell emerged victorious at the Division 8 Georgia-South Carolina Line tournament, held on March 23, 2025, at Broyles Landing near Townville, South Carolina. Hosted by the American Bass Anglers (ABA) Team Series, the event drew some of the region’s finest anglers, all vying for cash prizes and valuable points toward divisional and national standings.

Dickerson and Maxwell caught 21.67 pounds, including a 5.28-pound largemouth bass, to take first place and win a $1,350 cash prize.

Lane Clark and Blake Campbell caught 17.30 pounds to finish second and receive a $750 cash prize.

Danny and Randy Colquitt caught 15.74 pounds, including a 4.25-pound kicker fish, to place third and earn a $450 cash prize.

Josh Hart and Arnold Hall caught 14.75 pounds to secure fourth place and win a $300 cash prize.

Jeff Boyd and Robert Heard caught 14.94 pounds to take fifth place and receive a $150 cash prize.

Mike Strickland and Cory McGaha caught 14.33 pounds to finish sixth in the tournament standings.

The tournament’s biggest bass, a 5.28-pounder caught by Dickerson and Maxwell, earned the duo an additional $250 bonus.
