March 30, 2025 – Lake Nippenickett, MA – Sheron Brown of Leominster claimed first place at the American Bass Anglers (ABA) American Fishing Tour Division 36 tournament held on Lake Nippenickett. Brown secured the win with a five-fish limit weighing 11.38 pounds, anchored by the tournament’s heaviest bass—a 6.18-pound catch. His performance earned him the top prize of $522, along with an additional $380 for Big Bass honors.

Fishing in challenging post-frontal conditions, Brown was one of only two anglers to bring in a full limit.
