Sheron Brown Wins on Lake Nippenickett

March 30, 2025 – Lake Nippenickett, MA – Sheron Brown of Leominster claimed first place at the American Bass Anglers (ABA) American Fishing Tour Division 36 tournament held on Lake Nippenickett. The event drew anglers from across the region, all competing for cash prizes and critical divisional and national ranking points.

Brown secured the win with a five-fish limit weighing 11.38 pounds, anchored by the tournament’s heaviest bass—a 6.18-pound catch. His performance earned him the top prize of $522, along with an additional $380 for Big Bass honors.

Fishing in challenging post-frontal conditions, Brown was one of only two anglers to bring in a full limit.

In second place, Todd Rourke of Upton finished close behind with a total catch of 11.24 pounds, which included a 2.75-pound bass. His strong performance earned him a cash prize of $308.
