Clayton Faircloth of Milledgeville, GA, takes the win at the AFT D72 tournament held on November 29, 2025, on Lake Sinclair.  Faircloth had a five bass limit that weighed 18.64 pounds to take home the first place trophy and $735 cash.  He anchored his sack with a 5.81 pound bass.
Matthew Blackwell of Warner Robins, GA, landed an awesome 7.27 pound largemouth bass to win the optional Big Bass pot for $350 cash and the Big Bass trophy!
The turnout of 35 anglers competed for the top six places with payouts totaling $1,715.

After the trophies were awarded and the cash payouts were announced, several draw prizes were handed out to anglers in attendance. Two $50 cash prizes went to Tony Wooten and Chad Wilson. A custom wooden flag crafted by Captain Kidd’s Designs was won by Josh George. Shawn Hendrix also contributed a generous $200 gift certificate toward a Kissel Krafts custom rod, which was claimed by Mike Blackshear.
A special thanks goes to Robert Bennett, Les Charles, and David Mitchell for helping with morning boat checks, registration, and weighing fish at the scale.
