Yarbrough Wins on Oconee

Greg Yarbrough of Milledgeville, GA, takes the win at the AFT D72 tournament held December 6, 202,5 on Lake Oconee.  Greg had a five bass limit that weighed 18.07 pounds to take home the first place trophy and $709 cash.   He anchored his sack with a 5.28 pound bass.

Les Charles of Milledgeville, GA had five bass totaling 15.87 pounds, which included a 4.72 pounder to take home the second place trophy and $444 cash. 

Tony Wooten of Dublin, GA, landed a 5.72 pound largemouth bass to win the optional Big Bass pot for $320 cash and the Big Bass trophy.

The turnout of 32 anglers competing for the top five places with payouts totaling $1,568.

Top 20

After the awards of trophies and cash payouts, draw prizes were given to the anglers present.  Two $50 bills were won by David Mitchell and David Lowery.  A $50 gift card to Sugar Creek Marina was won by Randy Woodham.  A custom wooden flag by Captain Kidd’s Designs was won by Hunter Clay.   

A special thanks goes to Bob Clark, Les Charles,  and David Mitchell for helping with morning boat checks, registration,  and weighing fish at the scale.
