Jonathan Chavis of Locust Grove, Georgia, captured the win at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 72 event held January 10, 2026, on Lake Oconee. Chavis brought a five-bass limit to the scales weighing 17.63 pounds, earning the first-place trophy and $755 in winnings. His day was anchored by a standout 5.53-pound largemouth.

Finishing close behind, Travis Clay of Jackson, Georgia, secured second place with a solid 16.64-pound limit, taking home $478.

Rounding out the top three was Hunter Clay of Jackson, Georgia, who weighed 15.50 pounds for third place and $212, while also claiming the Big Bass honors with a 5.86-pound largemouth. That fish earned him the Big Bass trophy and $370 from the optional pot, bringing his total winnings to $582.
