Gordon Bocash Wins on Quinsigamond

April 27, 2025 – Quinsigamond Lake, MA – Gordon Bocash of Woodstock, Connecticut, captured the win at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 36 tournament held Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond. The event brought together some of the region’s top anglers, all battling for cash prizes and valuable points toward divisional and national standings.

Bocash topped the field with a five-bass limit weighing 13.80 pounds, anchored by a standout fish that helped secure the win. His strong performance earned him the first-place trophy and a $543 cash prize.

Despite tough fishing conditions throughout the day, Bocash adjusted his strategy late and landed the critical bites needed to take the title.

Jim Mercier of Rochdale, Massachusetts, finished second, with a total weight of 10.33 pounds, including a notable 3.17-pound bass. Mercier took home a $329 payday for his efforts.
