Nashua River, MA – April 19, 2026 – Jody White from Shaftsbury clinched first place at the American Fishing Tour Division 36 tournament on March 29, 2026.
He topped the leaderboard with a total catch of 15.29 pounds, earning $400 and valuable divisional and national points.
White targeted backwaters to locate less-pressured bass preparing to spawn, securing the win in the competitive field.
Julian Felix from Fitchburg took second place with 13.15 pounds and received $187.

Rich Fairman from Orange placed third with 12.50 pounds.

John Sampson landed the tournament’s biggest bass at 4.99 pounds, winning an additional $240.

Jamie Bolden, John Sampson, and Nate Smith delivered strong performances in the top six, adding to the event’s competitive energy.
Top 10
These anglers earned valuable points toward the Divisional Angler of the Year title. The division champion advances to the AFT Championship, with the top 500 anglers qualifying for the final round.
