Stop 1 for 2024 Top 150 Okeechobee

Top 150 Solo Florida Division begins on Lake Okeechobee January 19-20, 2024

The American Bass Anglers (ABA) is gearing up for an exhilarating 2024 Top 150 Solo Series season, and anglers eagerly anticipate the chance to showcase their skills and compete for up to $20,000 first place plus contingency money. The ABA, known for providing opportunities to anglers, introduced a new Florida Division, and the first tournament for 2024 is scheduled on Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Division: A New Frontier for Anglers
One of the most exciting additions to the 2024 season is the Florida Division. This division promises incredible fishing opportunities in the Sunshine State, known for its rich bass fishing heritage. Here are the details of the Florida Division events:

Lake Okeechobee at Scott Driver (Updated Date: January 19-20, 2024)
Lake Okeechobee, Florida’s largest lake, offers an exceptional bass fishing experience. Anglers can explore its vast waters and diverse habitats in search of trophy largemouth bass.

Lake Okeechobee, often referred to as the “Big O,” is Florida’s largest lake and renowned as a bass fishing paradise. Its vast waters, covering approximately 730 square miles, are teeming with diverse habitats and a thriving bass population.

Anglers know this is the time to be on the Big O. Late January is when the bass are spawning and when the biggest sacks of the season are caught. Lake Okeechobee is known for its pristine waters, abundant vegetation, and ideal conditions for largemouth bass both pre and post spawn. The lake consistently produces trophy-sized bass and uniquely challenges seasoned anglers.

Stop two for the Flordia division is Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho) at Kissimmee Lakefront Park (April 19-20, 2024)
Lake Toho, a renowned bass fishery, is located in the heart of Florida. Anglers have the chance to reel in trophy-sized largemouth bass while enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

The final 2024 Florida division event will be on Harris Chain out of Lakes at Venetian Gardens (May 31 – June 1, 2024)
The Harris Chain of Lakes, a series of interconnected lakes, is known for producing quality bass and offering a variety of fishing experiences. Anglers can expect a thrilling competition in this beautiful setting.

The Top 150 Solo Series: A Unique Challenge
The Top 150 Solo Series is distinct in that anglers compete individually, emphasizing their skills and adaptability. It’s a thrilling experience where each angler can control their destiny on the water. The rules and additional information for the 2024 Top 150 Solo Series can be found on the official website: Americanbassanglers.com/Top150.
