Justin Thompson Wins on Carters Lake

Justin Thompson Triumphs in Carters Lake Bass Fishing Tournament, Division 125 GA North”Chatsworth, GA – November 18, 2023: The picturesque Carters Lake, near Chatsworth, GA, played host to a bass fishing tournament where some of Georgia’s most skilled anglers set sail from the Dam Site Ramp. Among them, a fierce competition unfolded, with 12 anglers managing to reel in impressive five-fish limits. However, it was Justin Thompson, hailing from Cummings, GA, who emerged as the victor, showcasing his mastery with a total weight of 13.63 pounds. Justin attributed his triumph to his expert use of Shakey Head live scoping techniques. As a reward for his exceptional performance, Justin pocketed a substantial $796 in prize money.

Securing the second position was Jason Allen, who exhibited his angling prowess with a five-fish haul weighing 11.98 pounds. Jason disclosed that he primarily relied on Keitech lures and live scope technology to land his impressive catches. For his remarkable efforts, Jason received a well-deserved $512 in prize money.

Bob Allen, another talented contender, clinched the third spot with a five-fish total weight of 11.96 pounds. Like Jason, Bob also employed Keitech lures and live scope tactics to reel in his catches. Bob’s dedication earned him a prize of $245.

The title of the tournament’s “Biggest Bass” was secured by Jack Green, who landed an impressive catch weighing 4.34 pounds. This remarkable feat earned Jack $215 in prize money.
