American Bass Anglers (ABA) is gearing up for an electrifying 2024 Top 150 Solo Series season, igniting excitement among anglers eager to demonstrate their abilities and fight for a lucrative prize pool. This year, the Alabama Division offers a dynamic lineup of tournaments. The series kicks off on March 1 and 2, 2024, at the famed Lake Guntersville, launching from Goose Pond in Scottsboro, AL.

A lot of big bass have been caught in Guntersville lately. Are these the best anglers in the Southeast? Let’s find out and test your skills on March 1 and 2, 2024.

Some anglers are good just on their home lake, but can they be consistent in a series of events on different lakes? This is what the Top 150 Solo offers. Anglers from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Missouri will compete on three different lakes in 2024 to see who is really the best of the best in the southeast. This series will answer this question.

Alabama Division: 2024 Top 150 Solo Alabama Schedule

Event 1: March 1 and 2, 2024 – Lake Guntersville at Goose Pond (Register)
Online Registration Cut Off: Monday, February 26, 2024, 8 am CT.
Lake Guntersville continues to be the top destination for bass fishing of all of Alabama’s waterways, offering anglers exceptional bass fishing. Spanning approximately 69,000 acres, this reservoir boasts an impressive average depth of 15 feet and a maximum depth of 60 feet, providing ample habitat for its thriving bass population. With over 950 miles of shoreline and an abundance of submerged structures such as grass beds, ledges, and submerged timber, Lake Guntersville offers anglers an unparalleled fishing experience. Notably, the lake has produced numerous trophy-sized bass, with the current record standing at an impressive 14 pounds, 6 ounces. Whether casting along its expansive flats or probing its submerged structures, anglers are drawn to Lake Guntersville year-round in pursuit of trophy largemouth bass amidst its picturesque surroundings.

Event 2: April 19 and 20, 2024 – Lake Martin at Wind Creek State Park
Nestled within the serene landscapes of Wind Creek State Park, Lake Martin provides a captivating backdrop for the second leg of the Alabama Division.

Event 3: June 7 and 8, 2024 – Chickamauga at Dayton City
Chickamauga, known for its abundance of bass and breathtaking scenery, sets the stage for the grand finale of the Alabama Division. Anglers will test their mettle against the majestic waters of Chickamauga, aiming for victory in this thrilling competition.

How does the Top 150 Solo work? Individual anglers compete in four divisions, each hosting three one-day qualifying events. Points are accumulated based on performance, setting the stage for intense competition and electrifying showdowns.

Payouts and Rewards With a chance to win big, anglers can reel in rewards worth $20,000 for first place in each divisional event with 150 anglers. Plus, the top 15 anglers from each division secure a coveted spot in the 2024 National Championship!
