Glouse Wins Pro League on Lake Keowee

ATHENS, Ala. – Gregory W. Glouse took the win in the 2024 American Bass Anglers Professional League, Presented by Caymas Boats, South Carolina Division tournament held on March 2nd 2024 at Lake Keowee. Running out of South Cove Park in Seneca, SC, the Liberty South Carolina angler weighed in a five-bass limit weighing 15.32 pounds to secure the win. Glouse took home $2900.00 for his win.

“I caught my fish on a drop-shot using a 4-inch Zoom finesse worm in spawning creeks, said Glouse. I was catching them anywhere from 30 feet suspended to 65 feet on the bottom.”

“I caught quite a few fish today. The big fish actually came up schooling, and I caught it on a swimbait. The other fish I caught, I was basically junk fishing. I caught some on a swimbait, a Texas rig, and a Damiki rig, said Benfield.”

Taking third place, Joe Anders of Easley SC, weighed in a five bass limit weighing 13.83 lbs. Anders took home $1000.00 for his catch.
