Kenneth Young Wins at Lake Blackshear

On March 9, 2024, Kenneth Young of Vienna, Georgia, won the American Fishing Tour Division 74 event held at Lake Blackshear in Cordele, Georgia. Notably, his standout catch—an impressive 8.68-pound bass—earned him first place, along with the coveted Big Fish honors and a cash prize amounting to $236.

Following closely behind, George Haynie of Cordele, Georgia, clinched second place with a total weight of 13.55 pounds, highlighted by a notable 5.83-pound catch. Henry Starks from Byron, Georgia, showcased his angling skills to secure third place, boasting a total catch of 12.11 pounds, including a 5.85-pounder. Dwayne Smith from Americus, Georgia, claimed fourth place with an admirable haul of three fish, totaling 10.57 pounds, among which was a 4.81-pound catch.
