Tyler Campbell Claims Victory at Clark’s Hill

October 20, 2024, McCormick, SC – Tyler Campbell of Martin, GA, secured first place at the Division 25 – South Carolina Northwest tournament, held at Dorn Fishing Facility in McCormick, SC, on October 20, 2024. The tournament, part of the American Fishing Tour, attracted the top anglers from the region, all competing for cash prizes and valuable points toward divisional and national standings.

Campbell led the field with a total weight of 17.38 pounds, highlighted by a notable 4.07-pound bass. His performance earned him a cash prize of $695, along with an additional $168 from the first-place option pot, bringing his total earnings to $863.

In second place, Don Kneece of Saluda, SC, weighed in a total of 14.76 pounds, which included the tournament’s biggest bass at 4.94 pounds. Kneece earned $434 for second place and an additional $112 from the second-place option pot, totaling $546 in winnings. His 4.94-pound bass also won him the tournament’s Big Bass prize of $145.

Third place went to Jay Futch of Greenwood, SC, with a total weight of 14.50 pounds, anchored by a 3.87-pound bass. Futch received a cash prize of $167 for his efforts.

Other top anglers included Lane Clark, Andy Lake, and Corey Waits, who finished in the top six, contributing to the competitive spirit of the tournament.
