Steve Brown and Cindy Joint Win on Kissimmee

October 20, 2024, Kissimmee, FL – Steve “Boogie” Brown and Cindy Joint emerged as the winning team at the second tournament of the American Bass Anglers Couples Series, Florida Division 14, held on the scenic Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. With a strong field of returning couples and new faces alike, the event was filled with high energy as anglers aimed to secure top catches and claim the day’s bragging rights.

Boogie and Cindy, who have competed in only a handful of tournaments, showcased exceptional teamwork to capture first place with a total weight of 14.41 pounds. Boogie’s confidence in a specific location paid off as they remained stationary throughout the day, surrounded by schooling bass. Cindy’s skillful netting and Boogie’s 4.79-pound bass anchored their catch, securing their win and bolstering their position as Florida Division point leaders.

David and Leslie Tervin claimed second place with a total of 12.46 pounds, featuring the day’s largest bass on the men’s side—a 6.97-pound catch by David that significantly boosted their standings and earned them multiple prize jackpots.

Newcomers Danny and Heather Bono made a strong impression with their third-place finish, weighing in a 10.99-pound sack. Danny’s solid 4.53-pound catch added to their success and created an unforgettable moment for the team.
