December 2, 2024 – Townville, SC. Jordan Peeples of Anderson, South Carolina, delivered an outstanding performance to win the Division 25 – South Carolina Northwest tournament, held at Broyles Landing near Townville, South Carolina, on December 2, 2024. This event, part of the prestigious American Fishing Tour, brought together the region’s top anglers to compete for cash prizes and critical divisional and national points.
Peeples led the field with a total catch weighing 17.23 pounds, anchored by an impressive 4.34-pound bass. His exceptional showing earned him a first-place cash prize of $500, along with the first-place option pot of $108, for a total of $608.
Lane Clark, also from Anderson, South Carolina, claimed second place with a total weight of 15.61 pounds, including a notable 3.55-pound bass. Clark’s efforts earned him $288 in prize money and an additional $72 from the second-place option pot, for a combined total of $360.
Third place went to Joe Anders of Easley, South Carolina, with a solid total catch of 14.04 pounds, earning him a cash prize of $94.
The competition showcased remarkable performances from several anglers, including Kerry Partain, Greg Glouse, and Stacey James, who rounded out the top six. Their contributions highlighted the intense competitive spirit of the event.
The tournament’s Biggest Bass was a 4.34-pound catch by Jordan Peeples, further boosting his winnings with an additional $90 cash bonus.

In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA AFT National Championship tournament to be held in October 2025 on Lake Eufaula.
These tournaments are crucial for anglers as they accumulate points toward the coveted Divisional Angler of the Year title.
