Lake R.B. Russell – January 12, 2025: Josh Hart and Arnold Hall took first place at the Division 8 Georgia-South Carolina Line tournament, held at the Highway 72 ramp on January 26. Competing in the American Bass Anglers Team Series, the pair weighed in a total catch of 14.91 pounds, securing a $1,400 prize.
Billy Anglin and Dylan Hendrix finished a close second with 14.87 pounds, including a standout 4.48-pound bass, earning them $780.
Michael Nix and Randy Webb claimed third place with a total of 12.25 pounds, taking home $470.
The Big Bass of the tournament was a 5.31-pound largemouth, caught by Damon Phillips and Steven Ricker, earning them $260.
The next tournament in Division 8 is scheduled for February 23, 2025, at Clark’s Hill Lake. The Dorn Fishing Facility in McCormick, SC, will serve as the launch site.

Anglers compete to earn points toward the divisional Team of the Year title, with the top teams advancing to the American Bass Anglers Team Series Championship. Additionally, the top 250 teams from across the divisions will qualify for the ABA Team Series National Championship, a three-day competition.
