James Topmiller on Lake Toho

February 2, 2025 – Kissimmee, FL – James Topmiller secured a decisive victory at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 21 tournament held on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. The event drew a full roster of anglers, all vying for cash prizes and critical points toward both divisional and national rankings.

Topmiller claimed first place with a five-fish limit weighing 22.17 pounds. Warmer weather conditions brought fish into the shallows for spawning, providing ideal opportunities for impressive catches. His performance earned him the first-place prize of $695.

James Hoctor took second place with a five-fish limit totaling 20.79 pounds, anchored by the tournament’s biggest bass—a 10.12-pound Florida strain largemouth. Hoctor received $434 for his finish, along with a $560 bonus for catching the event’s largest bass.

Mike Calloway secured third place with a total weight of 15.34 pounds, earning $167. Quinton Zornes, fishing as a co-angler, placed fourth with 11.38 pounds and was awarded $130. Rounding out the top five, Daniel Weber finished with 11.12 pounds and took home $94.
