Josh Sanchez and Den Lynch Win at Clark’s Hill!

February 23, 2025, Clark’s Hill Lake – Josh Sanchez and Den Lynch came out on top at the Division 8 – Georgia South Carolina Line tournament, held at the Dorn Fishing Facility. The event was part of the American Bass Anglers Team Series and drew some of the best anglers from the area, all aiming for cash prizes and valuable points in the divisional and national standings.

Sanchez and Lynch led the pack with a total catch of 15.38 pounds, anchored by a 4.76-pound largemouth. Their impressive haul earned them first place and a cash prize of $1,400.

Mike Strickland and Cory McGaha took second place with a total weight of 14.04 pounds, which earned them $780.

Not far behind, Damon Phillips and Steven Ricker secured third place with a catch of 13.60 pounds, winning $470.

Several other teams put in strong performances as well. Don Kneece and Phil Morris claimed fourth place, while Todd Pearson and Johnny Hancox finished fifth. Myles Chasteen and Logan Grimes rounded out the top six. The competition was tight, and every team brought their A-game.

The Biggest Bass of the day was the 4.76-pound largemouth caught by Sanchez and Lynch, earning them an extra $260.
