March 15, 2025, Prattville, AL – Ryan Ingram from Phenix City, Alabama, secured first place at the American Fishing Tour Division 24 tournament held on March 15 at Cooters Pond Park on the Alabama River near Prattville. The competition attracted skilled anglers from across the region, all vying for cash prizes and valuable divisional and national points.
Ingram earned the victory with a total catch weighing 17.60 pounds, highlighted by a substantial 4.27-pound bass. His impressive performance awarded him the top prize of $432.
Second place went to Tommy Pegues III of Montgomery, Alabama, with a total weight of 14.01 pounds. Pegues landed a notable bass weighing 4.40 pounds and earned a cash prize of $223.
Third place was claimed by Jim Boyle from Camp Hill, Alabama, whose total catch weighed 12.56 pounds, including a solid 4.12-pound bass. Boyle received $79 for his finish.
Ty Story from Prattville caught the largest bass of the tournament, a remarkable 5.09-pound fish, securing him the Big Bass prize of $75.
Upcoming Events: Anglers and fishing enthusiasts can look forward to the next two events for Division 24, scheduled for April 5 and April 6 at Lake Mitchell, launching from Higgins Ferry Ramp near Clanton, Alabama. Both events will be single-day tournaments, with the April 6 competition serving as a makeup date for the January 11 event, previously canceled due to weather conditions.
