Walker Weeks Wins on Lake Toho

April 5, 2025 – Kissimmee, FL – Walker Weeks claimed first place at the American Fishing Tour Division 21 tournament held on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. The event, presented by American Bass Anglers, drew a full field of anglers competing for cash prizes and critical points toward divisional and national standings.

Weeks secured the win with a five-fish limit totaling 16.10 pounds. His performance earned him the top prize of $745 and 200 points toward the Divisional Angler of the Year race.

Charles DaSilva finished in second place with a five-fish limit weighing 15.73 pounds, earning $470.

Third place went to Brian James with a total weight of 12.88 pounds, receiving a payout of $151.

Gary Lee claimed fourth place with 12.51 pounds, which included a 6.18-pound kicker fish. He also earned $151.

Fifth place was awarded to Quintin Zornes with 12.43 pounds and a prize of $115. Rounding out the top six was Frank Mitchum, who weighed in 12.08 pounds.

The Big Bass of the tournament was caught by James Shuman, who landed a 7.42-pound largemouth. His catch earned him the Big Bass award and a $700 cash bonus.

Anglers faced challenging conditions throughout the day, with wind and waves requiring adjustments to their fishing strategies. Most successful catches came on moving baits.

The next Division 21 tournament is scheduled for May 24, 2025, following the 2024 ABA AFT National Championship at Lake Murray, South Carolina. The event will launch from Toho Lakefront Park Marina in Kissimmee, Florida.

Anglers competing in the American Fishing Tour accumulate points toward the Division Angler of the Year title.
