Julian Felix Wins On Whitehall Lake

May 17, 2025 | Whitehall Lake, MA – Julian Felix of Leominster, Massachusetts, captured the win at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 36 tournament held on Whitehall Lake. The event brought together top local anglers, all vying for cash prizes and critical points toward divisional standings and qualification for the American Bass Anglers National Championship.

Felix secured the top spot with a five-bass limit weighing 10.72 pounds, earning him a $543 payout. Fishing from the back of the boat, Felix relied on finesse techniques to coax reluctant post-spawn bass into biting, ultimately landing a winning bag in tough conditions.

Top Competitors Round Out the Field

Quincy Ortiz of Turners Falls finished close behind in second place with a limit weighing 10.44 pounds, collecting $329 for his effort. Rounding out the top three was Dwight Marchant of Northborough, who brought 9.60 pounds to the scales and earned $108.
