Kissimmee, Fla., September 14, 2025 – The American Bass Anglers Professional League, Florida Central Division 6, held its latest tournament on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes from September 13 to 14, where top anglers competed for cash, along with divisional and national points.
Jeremy D. Smith came out on top, weighing in an impressive two-day total of 45.30 pounds to secure the win. His efforts earned him the first-place prize of $3,200. Smith said his key to success was flipping pads and targeting areas of Kissimmee grass mixed with pads.
Ryan W. Martin finished second with a solid total of 37.80 pounds, taking home $1,400. In third place, James D. Watkins brought in 36.7 pounds, worth $1,100.
Anthony Quintana claimed fourth with 34.8 pounds, earning $950, followed by Kyle W. Brewer in fifth with 33.6 pounds for $600. Rounding out the top six was Neil C. Nix, who landed 32.8 pounds for $450.

The tournament’s Big Bass award went to Chris McBeath, whose giant 9.34-pounder was the heaviest fish of the event.
