September 30, 2025, Hartwell, GA, Chris Nelson and Kerry Partain took top honors at the American Bass Anglers Team Series Division 8, Georgia/South Carolina Line event, held on September 21 at the Gum Branch Tournament Facility in Hartwell, Georgia.
Nelson and Partain won with a total catch of 14.53 pounds, which included a 4.13-pound bass. Their performance earned them first place and a $790 cash prize.
Shane Autry and Rob Fortson finished second with 9.82 pounds, featuring the tournament’s biggest bass, a 4.98-pound largemouth. Their efforts earned them $530 for second place and an additional $110 bonus for Big Bass.

Third place went to Billy Anglin and Dylan Hendrix, who caught 8.81 pounds. The strong showings continued with the top six, including Clayton Chasteen and Logan Grimes (4th), John Dickerson and Randal Maxwell (5th), and Michael Geiger and Spencer Talley (6th).
