November 2nd, 2025, Barton’s Cove -Quincy Ortiz l from Belchertown, clinched victory at the Division 36 Early Bird held at Barton’s Cove on November 2nd. The event, part of the American Fishing Tour, attracted top anglers from the area, all competing for cash and important divisional and national points.
Quincy topped the leaderboard with a total catch of 19.15 pounds. This impressive haul earned him the first-place award and a cash prize of $425
Utilizing forward-facing sonar Quincy was able to pick off huge smallmouth all day long and dominate the leaderboard
In second place was Steve Marshall from Phillipstown, who secured it with a total weight of 11.93 pounds. For second Mike, received $225

In third place, Shane Stout from Montague showcased his skill with a total catch of 9.89 pounds.
The tournament saw strong performances from other anglers as well, including Rich Fairman, Donny Anyon, and Sheron Brown, who landed in the top six. Their efforts added to the competitive spirit of the event.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament 4.89 smallmouth and was caught by Quincy Ortiz. He was awarded $260
