Lonny Mead Wins at AFT Div 21 Lake Toho

11/01/2025, Lake Toho – Lonny Mead takes first-place win for American Fishing Tour Division 21 tournament held at Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, 11/01/2025. The event, part of the American Fishing Tour, attracted a full field of anglers from the area, all competing for cash and important divisional and national points.

Lonny topped the leaderboard with a total weight of 20.93 pounds. This big bag earned him the first-place cash prize of $680.00. Lonny’s notable big bag was anchored by a 5.35-pound bass with two others right under that weight.

Right behind Lonny, and our Second-place winner, was Andrew Hall with a nice limit weighing in at 19.69 pounds. A beautiful 8.07 largemouth bass anchored Andrew’s bag. Andrew received $424.00 for his second-place finish and $375.00 for the tournament’s BIG BASS.

In third place, Charles DaSilva showed off his skills with a total catch of 16.61 pounds. He was awarded $157.00 for his efforts

In fourth place, James Topmiller celebrated his catch of 15.71 pounds with an award of $123.00.

Fifth place was secured by Christopher Maxwell with 14.75 pounds and was awarded $86.00.

The second big bass went to Mike Calloway, who brought a 6.76-pound bass to the scale, earning him a $125.00 award.

Fall has arrived in central Florida, with air temperatures moderating and water cooling down. Bass were found holding to structure and hunkering under and around visible vegetation. Several competitors focused on throwing top water frogs in grassy areas where explosive bites provided for exciting moments and larger bass.

Anglers and fishing enthusiasts can look forward to the next exciting competition in this division, scheduled for 12/06/2025, at Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. The Toho Lakefront Park Marina in Kissimmee, Florida, will serve as the launch site.
