June , 82025 – Lake Seminole, GA. Anglers in the American Fishing Tour Seminole Division were met with tough conditions on June 8th as they launched from Big Jim’s Marina on Lake Seminole, a storied fishery known for its dense vegetation, shallow flats, and complex backwater areas. Despite the stingy bite, local angler Dustin Sneads of Sneads, FL, rose to the top with a winning total of 22.15 pounds.
“I was fortunate to get an early limit and managed to upgrade with two key fish around 2 p.m.,” Sneads said. “It wasn’t easy out there today, but staying patient and grinding it out made the difference.”
Cory Atkinson of Bainbridge, GA secured second place with 20.04 pounds. He found a few keepers in the morning but really turned things around after lunch, landing quality fish that helped him cull up and challenge for the win.

Finishing third was Bradley Enfinger of Donalsonville, GA, with a solid bag weighing 18.90 pounds. Enfinger stayed consistent throughout the day and rounded out a highly competitive top three.
Lake Seminole, located at the intersection of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama, is known for its bass fishing opportunities. With a mix of hydrilla beds, standing timber, and river channels, it’s a strategic battleground for anglers who know how to adapt. On this day, the lake showed its tougher side, but the top competitors found ways to unlock its potential.
The division’s next event is July 13, 2025, out of Big Jim’s Marina.
