October 19, 2025 – Worcester, MA. Steve Marshall of Phillipston took top honors at the ABA Division 36 Early Bird tournament on Lake Quinsigamond. The event drew a strong field of local anglers competing for cash payouts and valuable points in the American Fishing Tour.
Marshall topped the leaderboard with a five-fish limit weighing 14.30 pounds, the only limit of the day. His performance earned him $313 for first place. Marshall also swept the day’s awards by claiming Big Bass with a 4.87-pound largemouth, adding $135 more to his total.
In second place, Rich Fairman of Orange brought 8.05 pounds to the scales, earning a payout of $128 for his finish.
In third, Nate Smith of Uxbridge secured a solid bag weighing 7.15 pounds to round out the top three.

The tournament saw strong efforts from additional top finishers including Mark Shultz, Todd Rourke, and Quincy Ortiz, each landing inside the top six.
