Lake Toho, January 7, 2024 – Russ Osborne of Orlando, FL, and Micah Silverman of Belle Isle, FL, emerged as the winners in the Team Series Central Florida division tournament held at Lake Toho on January 7, 2024. This event, part of the Team Series, attracted 41 regional top teams, all vying for cash prizes and crucial divisional and national points.
Osborne and Silverman lead the field with a remarkable total catch of 25.58 pounds, comprising a five-bass limit. Their exceptional performance secured them first place and a cash prize of $1,650.00.
Securing the second position was the team of Charles Nelson and David Buckmaster, who recorded a combined weight of 21.22 pounds, earning them a cash prize of $830.00.
In third place, Raymond Trudeau and Walter Thompson exhibited their angling skills with a total catch of 18.46 pounds, and they were awarded $550.00 for their efforts.
David Smith and Dale Wolfskill brought in a limit of 17.38 pounds, Shelton Smith and Eric Andrews with 15.98 pounds, and Gino Losi and Jimmy Frye with 15.84 pounds, placing them in the top six positions and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the tournament.
The tournament’s largest bass, an impressive 9.78-pound catch, was secured by the team of Kevin and Ryan Marrs, which helped them secure the seventh position, earning them $230 for their finish and an additional cash bonus of $400.
