2025 ABA Professional League Registration Now Open

Elevating Weekend Anglers to the Next Level

Athens, AL – September 23, 2024 – American Bass Anglers, Inc. is excited to unveil the 2025 ABA Professional League, a groundbreaking series that offers weekend anglers the opportunity to take their skills and competition to new heights. With a fresh format and industry-leading payouts, the 2025 Professional League is set to revolutionize solo bass fishing tournaments across the nation.

What Sets the 2025 ABA Professional League Apart?

Launching in January 2025, the ABA Professional League offers solo anglers a National Series across 16 divisions. Each division will host three one-day qualifying tournaments and a two-day Divisional Championship. With entry fees of $350 per event (including big bass), the league ensures an 80% payout – one of the most competitive in the sport. For anglers looking to compete for substantial winnings, the ABA Professional League delivers.

Exciting Payouts:

At divisional events, the top prize can reach $10,000 for a one-day tournament (based on a full field), and Caymas Boat owners can win an additional $7,000 through the Caymas Cash program, bringing total potential winnings to $17,000 for a single event.

Unmatched Flexibility:

The ABA Professional League allows anglers to optimize their season by competing in multiple divisions. Their best three one-day finishes and their best two-day event will count toward their national ranking, giving them the ability to recover from a low-scoring event and maximize their chances of success. This unique flexibility ensures anglers have control over their progress throughout the season.

Angler of the Year and National Standings:

Anglers will accumulate points throughout the season, with national and divisional standings playing key roles in qualifying for the prestigious 2026 ABA Championship. Division-level Angler of the Year winners will face off at the Championship, with a cash prize awaiting the top-performing AOY contender.

Commitment to Integrity:

The ABA Professional League is built on fairness and integrity, with truth verification in place at all events to maintain a level playing field for all participants.

Morris Sheehan, Owner of American Bass Anglers, Inc., shared:

“Our vision for the ABA Professional League is to provide a premier platform where weekend anglers can elevate their competition to the next level. We’ve raised the bar for bass fishing tournaments, offering larger payouts, more flexibility, and a higher standard of competition. This league puts the power in the anglers’ hands.”
